The integrated paleoclimatology group, led by Professor Jessica Tierney, seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on paleoclimate data assimilation. The project focuses on combining paleoclimate data and perturbed physics climate model simulation ensembles to constrain cloud and convection parameters. The goal of the project is to improve the representation of clouds and convection in Earth System models and narrow estimates of equilibrium climate sensitivity.
